The electric cable safe current carring capacity of different conductor corss section

1. Safe current carrying capacity of 2.5mm square copper power cable -- 28A.

2. Safe current carrying capacity of 4 mm square copper power cable - 35A.

3. Safe current carrying capacity of 6 mm square copper power cable -- 48A.

4. Safe current carrying capacity of 10 mm square copper power cable -- 65A.

5. Safe current carrying capacity of 16 mm square copper power cable -- 91A.

6. Safe current carrying capacity of 25 mm square copper power cable - 120A.

If it is aluminum power cable, the aluminum conductor corss section should be 1.5-2 times that of copper core conductor.

If the copper core cable current is less than 28A, it is safe to calculate at 10A per square millimeter.

If the copper core cablee current is bigger than 120A, it is OK to calculate at 5A per square millimeter.
